What this is

Siargao Verified is an independent trust directory for businesses in General Luna, Siargao. We help tourists identify verified business profiles and official contact channels before they message or pay. We are not a booking platform, a marketplace, or a payment processor.

How it works

You contact businesses directly through their official channels listed on each profile (Messenger, WhatsApp, phone, website). All booking, pricing, deposit, refund, and service decisions happen between you and the business. Siargao Verified is not part of those conversations.

No payment processing

We do not process payments. We do not hold deposits. We do not collect a commission. Any payment account details shown on a verified profile (GCash, Maya, bank, etc.) belong to the operator. Pay them directly through their listed channels. Never pay a random Facebook page or personal account that claims to represent a business.

Scam reports

You can report a suspicious or impersonating page at /report. By submitting a report you confirm:

• The information you submit is true to the best of your knowledge.
• You will not submit false reports. False reports waste safety resources and could harm legitimate businesses.
• We may review the report, act on it, contact you if needed, and use it for safety operations. Confirmed impersonators may later appear on a public “known impersonators” page.

What listings don't guarantee

A verified listing means we confirmed the business is real and its contacts are official. It does not guarantee:

• Availability on any date you request.
• That a quoted price will remain the same when you contact them.
• Service quality, food quality, or overall experience.
• A refund if something goes wrong.
• That the business will continue to operate in the future.

Your responsibility

Before paying any deposit, confirm dates, prices, what's included, and the cancellation policy directly with the business through their listed official channels. If something seems off — a different account name, a different domain, pressure to send money fast — stop and report it.

Content moderation

We may remove, update, or unpublish content for safety reasons — for example: changed business status, reported impersonation, failure to keep contacts current, or confirmed involvement in a scam. Verified status can be revoked at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be noted with a new “Last updated” date.
